Red, White and Blue! The painting featured in my calendar for July is titled “Military Pair”. I started with a light blue background on the whole surface of a 6″x 6″ canvas panel. I wasn’t sure what to do for the background. I first put white stars and then decided to go over them with Prussian Blue Hue. I LOVE how you can still see the stars! The original is part of a private collection but a print measuring 8″x 8″ is available. It is a giclee printed on fine art paper and fits easily into a 12″x 12″ frame. Can’t wait to BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burgers on the 4th!
